Chanter 232A, 23

1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside personally upon my Cure, but not in a Parsonage House there being none belonging to this Place.

2. Other benefices: I have another Benefice the Vicarage of Egloscrooke alias St Issey Cornwall.

3. Divine service at other churches: At no other Church besides my own.

4. Frequency of divine service: Twice every <Lords> Day, and two Sermons.

5. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament is administered twice at Xtmass Easter and Whitsuntide, and once at Michaelmas. At Easter there <were> more than 130 - at other Times the number of Communicants but little Exceeds 100.

6. Catechising of children: Immediately after Whitsunday.

7. Church fabric: Both Church, Chancel and Churchyard are in good Order, and the other Things very decent.

8. Glebe terrier: There is a Terrier in the Church Coffer.

9. Number of families: When the last Account was taken of the Number of Families, it amounted to 520, and I think it is nearly the same now.

10. Chapels: There is a Chapel (called Honiton) within this Parish - Nominated to by the Revd Mr John Southcomb, and generally served by himself, but not every Sunday - Supported by an Estate given by Mr Southcomb's Father.

11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: We have one Presbyterian Meeting House - The Teacher Mr Samuel Badcock.

12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: A Free School and a Charity School are here - Both duly managed by their Trustees - no Parochial Library.

13. Charity: Some Lands and several Benefactions are left for pious and charitable Uses - and they are all I believe, duly applied.

    Priest's orders and institution: My Admission to this Cure is dated January ye 2^d; 1746 and my Priest's Orders February ye 6th 1737.
